3. Beach Movie Nights

Starting this summer on June 7th, the Dockweiler Youth Center will be hosting family-friendly free movie nights on the beach. All of the movies begin at 8PM and although they are free, RSVP's through their website are recommended so that you can stay up to date with any last minute film changes and/or cancellations. Movie screenings are kid-friendly and include classics such as Shrek and The Mighty Ducks.

4. L.A. Taco's Taco Madness

L.A. Taco is a blog-style website that consists of a group of journalists who report on some of the biggest cultural things in Los Angeles - food and art - but mainly taco's. This year, L.A. Taco is hosting their 15th annual Taco Madness, a 21+ event in La Plaza de Cultura y Artes in Downtown Los Angeles that features 12 of Los Angeles's best taquerias serving tacos and beers, along with DJ's to keep the energy moving and some cool live graffiti art. At the end of the event, the judges of the festival will announce their best in-show winner for the best taco.

5. Pawlympics

For the first time, the Los Angeles Coliseum is hosting the Pawlympics, a day of fun and friendly competitions between dogs as well as photo ops, pet business shops, and the opportunity to meet other dog lovers and owners. All dogs and owners are welcome to attend the event to observe and browse around the market of shops set up inside the LA Coliseum with pet goodies, or to take part in the different events and contests happening throughout the day.

6. Salsa Night At Spire 73

7. Hollywood Carnival

The Hollywood Carnival is celebrating their tenth anniversary with seven action-packed parties taking place around Los Angeles at different venues over the course of three days, with their most famous event being the Hollywood Boulevard parade on June 22 from 10AM-3PM.
