The students are taken through a Vinyasa sequence with customized and detailed instructions for the paddleboard. One Dog Down

319 Glendale Blvd, Los Angeles

Hosted by One Down Dog, which LA Mag voted the best yoga studio in Los Angeles, this yoga class takes place in Echo Park near their DTLA studio. They make sure students are 8 feet apart and everyone must register in advance. They offer four formats of outdoor yoga classes. Flow, Chill, Sweat, & Core.

Laughing Frog Yoga

Laughing Frog Yoga offers outdoor yoga classes at Santa Monica's park. Flow, stretch, and breathe as the sun kisses your skin and the wind blows through your hair. They offer outdoor goat yoga as well as puppy yoga. There's only one puppy yoga studio in LA, and it's Laughing Frog.

Az I Am

At the stunning Luxe Sunset Blvd Hotel, Az I Am offers group yoga, yoga barre, fitness and sculpt classes, private yoga sessions, sound baths, meditation and weekend detox retreats. Zuma Beach

Zuma beach is open from sunrise to sunset, and there are a number of beach activities to enjoy. Since it's such a large beach, yoga enthusiasts can set up their own private yoga spot on Zuma beach away from the crowd.

El Matador State Beach

Another beach in Malibu where you can practice yoga and listen to the waves is El Matador State Beach. During low tide, you can set up your yoga mat quite close to the water.

Deer Creek Beach

Pacific Coast Highway and Deer Creek Rd, Malibu

Deer Creek Beach lies just off Pacific Coast Highway west of Malibu, CA. There is a concrete stairway leading down from parking spaces along PCH. Below these stairs is a sand and rock beach. Take some time to relax, meditate, and practice yoga in a quiet spot.

Staircase Beach

At the north end of Leo Carrillo State Beach in western Malibu is Staircase Beach. The parking lot leads to zigzag trail, but there is no staircase. There are a few scenic spots here, and it does not get too crowded because surfers are the main visitors.

Ernest E. Debs Regional Park

Everett Park

Everett St. One Block North of Sunset, Echo Park

This park remains largely a passive recreation area for the majority of the year. It is amazing to watch the sunset with the skyline of the city in full view. Especially towards the end of the day, the view of downtown Los Angeles is just stunning. The skyline of the city will be your backdrop as you practice yoga.

Vista Hermosa Natural Park

There is a beautiful corner in this park that overlooks Downtown Los Angeles. You'll find plenty of trees to keep the sun away if it gets too hot. Let the breeze fill your lungs as you relax and enjoy the view as you stretch.

Cheviot Hills Recreation Center

At this park, you will find archery ranges, dog parks, swimming pools, gymnasiums, and a baseball diamond. All this aside, you can practice yoga outdoors in a beautiful setting.

La Cienega Park

A perimeter jogging track, three baseball diamonds (two of which are converted to soccer fields seasonally), and a pavilion with outdoor exercise equipment make La Cienega Park a popular outdoor place for Beverly Hills residents.

It is a large park with green grassy areas on both sides. The park has a gorgeous view of the ocean and is right along the bluff along the coast. Additionally, there is exercise equipment built into the park.

Bluff Park

Ocean Blvd. 20th to 36th Place, Long Beach

With a view of the Pacific Ocean and gentle sea breezes, this park is one of the most beautiful parks in Long Beach. Visitors to this park are often joggers, strollers, and dog walkers. It's great to do yoga while you take in the sights.

Colorado Lagoon Park

5119 E Colorado St, Long Beach

Long Beach's Colorado Lagoon Park has sandy beaches on both sides of the lagoon's shore. Trees and golf courses surround this area, making it a very peaceful place to practice yoga.

Shoreline Aquatic Park

200 Aquarium Way, Long Beach

It is located between the Long Beach Arena and the Downtown Shoreline Marina. This large, open green space has a great view of the Queen Mary Ship & Hotel, the Long Beach skyline, and the Aquarium of the Pacific right next door. A tall lighthouse tower stands at the center of Shoreline Aquatic Park on a grassy hill. For your outdoor yoga session, you can pick any one of these spots.

Freemont Park

600 Hahn Avenue, Glendale

The park is great because it's family friendly, but there is more to it than that. The jungle gyms here are nice, but the open grass areas are even better. One of the best outdoor yoga spots in Los Angeles, if you're in the area, to take advantage of for your next yoga session.

Brookside Park

360 North Arroyo Boulevard, Pasadena

This is Pasadena's largest and most well maintained park, located just south of the Rose Bowl Stadium. Occasionally, you need some "alone time" that only being outside can provide. While most people walk or run here, you can set up your own yoga space. If you're hungry, there is a café, affiliated with the Rose Bowl, that is usually open during the day.

Garfield Park

1000 Park Ave South Pasadena

The park is quite large, located in the middle of South Pasadena. It's cool and breezy on most days because of the trees on the playground. You'll find a nice semi-hilly path there. Yoga is one of the best things to do under the trees because there is lots of green grass to enjoy.

Plummer Park

7377 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood

Besides being clean, it has good windscreens and a diverse crowd. In the west section, the Great Hall, you'll find an auditorium, while in the south section, the Long Hall, you'll find a library and games. For those who enjoy yoga outdoors, there is plenty of room to practice.

Northbridge Park

A charming little park in Santa Clarita's residential neighborhood. It has a multifunctional softball field. The serene and quiet atmosphere of this place is ideal for outdoor activities, especially yoga.
